Swag City Plans To Relaunch This Tuesday With Smartphone App

Incase you haven't heard, the West Coast's top underground music site, Swag City has finalised it's relaunch date. The site recently shifted into a period of closure, due to reconstructive work needed to simplify the need of excessive browsing.

Along with the new site, it includes a BlackBerry mobile application, free to all BlackBerry users from the BlackBerry's App World portal. Along with these developments, new content from other regions will be added, and content barriers will seize to exist as music will now be arranged according to region and not content or style. Primarily the website's focus is Hip-Hop music, although it has an additional section for House and Experimental Sounds. This additional part seems not to be of interest at the moment, despite the growing popularity of Electronic music.

The reason there of is that, SwagCity exists as a local website for the West Coast Hip-Hop community. Artists and music schemes add their music to various online resources, particularly the favourites Soundcloud and KasiMp3 inorder to generate downloads. SwagCity then uses direct hyperlinks to generate exposure and easily reference songs of all artists in the community to be found and enjoyed in future. The point? No one will have to google or hunt down local music, as it's all listed under one website, SwagCity.

We trust that the redevelopment process will be twice as effective as the last few changes at the mobile site and look forward to the West Coast first smartphone application releasing this Tuesday.
